FU Community is a thriving community of freelance creatives based in the UK. The group shares work opportunities and supports each other in problem solving.

In 2020 the whole world was locked down by the Corona Virus. Suddenly normality was no more. For many Freelance creatives this meant the sudden loss of all income and an uncertain future. In response to this uncertainty we formed a what’s app group called Freelance Union. The group brought us together digitally to come up with creative ways to support each other during these difficult times.

Today the What’s app group is going strong. Members of the group share work and help each other solve a whole plethora of problems. We felt that broadening the group to a formal organisation would serve freelancers across the UK and bring the benefits of the group to them.
